For my personal live project, there was an event coming up in Nantwich as the yearly reenactment of the Battle of Nantwich was approaching. I decided for my personal live project to document this event and send it to the group who manage the event as it allowed me to gain experience working for an event organisation and it may help me branch out in terms of photographer presence . The organisation that manages this and many other reenactments is the non profit group called the Earl of Manchester.

I looked into this group and discovered that they utilise photos as a means of advertisement through social media such as Instagram and Twitter for their events and have used a wide selection of different photographers for their sources of images which they archive in a Flickr account.

When the day came I went out with my dad and focused around the march that the soldiers do before the battle where they start in Malbank School and march all the way towards the town centre. I took many photos focused around the soldiers before, during and after the march. I created some contact sheets so I could look through them and decide which ones to select and edit for submission to the Earl of Manchester group.
