The meetings were complete and we had a good idea of what ideas were agreed upon that we could setup for the Christmas event, we contacted the Uni staff on information for the tombola and we managed to acquire on to use for the event.
Between me, Sarah and Alberto we discussed which of our own work we were going to place. For my personal contribution I decided to use a selection of photos I shot during my holiday in Iceland as I felt the icy environment of the location fit the Christmas theme well enough so I sat and reduced the selection to a small batch and then had the copies printed to have a good amount available to sell during the event.
We next needed to start budging heavy equipment and placing them into storage we were allowed to use by the Uni staff, we would keep them there until we needed to bring them out for setup the day the event is taking place at. A fellow arts student had made cardboard cutouts that we decided to use in place of Santa’s grotto that we originally had planned as we couldn’t get a Santa.
The event has been decided to take place in the reception area of the Kingsway Campus.
